Central location short walk to a children's park which was quiet, the train station, and Windermere, a short walk from the centre of town, it was in a lovely quiet area. Found High Street, it's at a short distance from the hotel.

My stay was thoroughly enjoyable by one night. The breakfast was great cooked with fresh fruit croissants or a full English, vegetarian options available and cake and the restaurant food was amazing. The location was ideal and unbeatable, very close to Windermere or Bowness-on-Windermere, the centre and station and shops, pubs and restaurants. Also, The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction was 2 km away.

I was offered a great cooked and hot breakfast with specials everyday. Nice and ideal location close to the town centre was a plus.

The room felt really hot and the bathroom was a bit small.

All in all everything was perfect, had a pleasant stay by one night. Perfect breakfast with homemade jams, different "specials ", cake and the staff were excellent. Booked the hotel for its fantastic location just off around the corner from a good pub serving good food, and a Laurel Cottage. Queen's Park was just outside the door. Truly enjoyed our stay here and can't recommend highly enough.

The hotel was in a central setting helpful in providing information about the local area. Moreover, it was right by Wansfell Pike, Windermere or Bowness-on-Windermere, and a decent walk up School Knott.

The location of this B&B was perfect, just a short walk to Windermere village for dining options or a leisurely 20 minute stroll to the lakeside for boat trips. It was also conveniently close to the town center, making it easy to explore the area. Another great aspect was that the B&B was situated opposite a quiet children's park, providing a peaceful atmosphere.

The room lacked a picturesque view, which was a bit disappointing.

Everything there was perfect. Brilliant food for dinner and breakfast. The unbeatable location for the price, next to the lake or the town and Windermere. Nearby The Pig - great place to chill out.

The location was comfortable and peaceful opposite a children's park which was quiet. I loved the very clean bed and the queen room.

New-fashioned, spotless rooms with the most lovely biscuits, sofa, for example, excellent setting. Location adjacent to the train station, all restaurants and the host's and England. Also, close to the centre of town.
